Applications are now open for the 2025 KAUST Student Research Internship at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. This fully funded program is available to Bachelor’s and Master’s students from around the world. It’s one of the highest-paying internships globally, with no application fee.
The internship lasts between 3 to 6 months, during which participants work on research projects aligned with their interests under the mentorship of KAUST faculty. A key benefit of this program is the flexibility to choose your start and end dates at any time throughout the year.

Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to international applicants who meet the following requirements:

Undergraduate students must be in their third year of a Bachelor’s program.

Graduate students must be currently enrolled in a Master’s program.

Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or 14 out of 20 (ECTS grade B).

English proficiency may be required during the application review:

TOEFL iBT: 79 or higher

IELTS: 6.5 or higher

Note: Current PhD students, KAUST students, and KAUST alumni are not eligible to apply.
