OIST Research Internship in Japan 2026 (Fully Funded)
Applications are open for the OIST Research Internship in Japan 2026 for the Spring intake. This is a fully funded internship program for international students in Japan. The internship duration ranges from 3 to 6 months. Students from all countries are eligible to apply. The internship will take place at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST).
The Spring 2026 session will be held from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026. The program is open to currently enrolled undergraduate or master’s students, as well as recent graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from any accredited university. IELTS or TOEFL scores are not required. Interns will gain hands-on research experience under the supervision of an OIST faculty member.
