METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan 2025 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan 2025. This is a fully funded international internship in Japan, offering hands-on experience in AI, IT, and technology companies. The internship lasts 1.5 months, running from October 31 to December 15, 2025. Approved by the Japanese government, the program is organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Each participating company will host 1 to 5 interns.

There is no application fee, and the internship is available to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and graduate students. Japanese language proficiency is not required. Eligibility Criteria for METI AI and Tech Talent Internship:
